Inuta wormhole

Inuta wormholes or touch-and-go wormholes were small portals that did not exert any gravitational pull and disappeared shortly after use. Rasunians had the natural power to instantly create these portals, and the Evonian scientist Dalin Yei Inuta discovered a scientific means to create these wormholes in the generation preceding BHH. Scientifically, an Inuta wormhole was a stable traversable wormhole with no gravitational field (an Ellis wormhole) that became unstable when matter passed through its 'throat', though for narrative purposes they actually tended to become unstable only once a person or group of people had passed through them.

"Touch-and-go wormhole" was the older name for these portals, dating back to "the game". It was taken from the "touch-n-go" property that a moving platform could have in the Super Mario 63 custom level designer, meaning the platform only moved when touched; it referred to the fact that the wormhole had no gravitational field, unlike most traversable wormholes in real science, so matter would only be affected by the wormhole after it touched it. The name "Inuta wormhole" was coined in May 2017 when the character Dalin Yei Inuta was introduced as part of the backstory of Tom's then-new character Ajax Inuta Krassen. Both terms were acceptable — Tom preferred "Inuta wormhole" and Kerry preferred "touch-and-go wormhole".
