The Suijing Cycle was one of the eight cycles of Glastieven mythology. It focused on four powerful mages travelling through secluded spaces with an Ancient Chinese or Japanese aesthetic to improve their skills and unravel evil magical plots. From November 2017 onwards, it focused specifically on the first set of Four Great Mages, appointed by an early King of Maisraln to protect his kingdom and train successors, and broadened the aesthetic to blend Ancient China and Japan with classical Rome. It was loosely an attempt at wuxia, strongly influenced by western fantasy and anime. Its key characters were Kanja Reiki, Kensaki Zihau, Erin Xingmay and Ainas Tacar.

The Suijing Cycle's position on the timeline was moved in November 2017. In July 2017, a new cycle based on the summer 2016 Neko Dynasty roleplay was created, placed between Maisraln and BHH on the timeline when interstellar space travel was starting and magic was in decline, similar to when the Neko Dynasty had been set. In November, the Suijing Cycle was moved to before Maisraln. After this change, it took place in the 570s of the Kingdom Years, after King Jonathan II issued the Great Magical Charter in 571 KY.
