Olympa was a major species-nation in the After-Human Era, including in BHH. Olympa's soft power (economic and social influence) made it one of the Two Great Powers from 300 AHE and one of the Three Great Powers from the 400s. Classically, Olympans valued honesty and truth, which made them the main ethical counterbalance to the Helltunans. Their economy and stock exchange inspired political system were based on trust credits. Olympans became more focused on their own bureaucracy and on cultivating financial and political influence, and less interested in ideals, so by BHH they were less enthusiastic about opposing Helltuna and more lukewarm towards their traditional allies the Evon.

In the timeline, Olympa was founded in the second or third century AHE and had established itself as the foremost soft power by 300 AHE, dominating the universe alongside their Helltunan rivals. In the new astropolitical system that emerged after Ellis-Uara wormholes were discovered in 400 AHE, Olympa aligned with the Evon against Helltuna, and were initially the dominant partners, though the Evon eventually replaced them as the main anti-Helltunan idealogues and Olympa moved towards equidistance. Separately, they strongly supported the rights of people not to live amongst their own species, leading the opposition to the Euphorbia protocol.
