Genesis Cycle
The Genesis Cycle was intended as the eighth cycle of Glastieven mythology, created as a category in November 2019 but not developed much before March 2020. The idea was that it was supposed to take place before the start of the timeline and focus on creation myths. The key characters would have been angels or gods and the roleplays would have created narratives like the stories of the gods in Greek mythology.
In what little worldbuilding did get done, the Genesis Cycle tended to depict a nominally monotheistic cosmology with powerful angels or spirits below God. There was talk of drawing inspiration from Gnosticism. Other conversations centred on integrating the cycle's world-creation stories with the explorations of determinism in the Maiestas Cycle and building on ideas implicit in the original 2017 work on Maisraln about the natural inclinations of raw magic and magical spirits.
